Long Hiatus

I admit it. In the past couple of years and more I have simply gotten sick of the sustained argument going on in our culture and of only ever having an opportunity to preach to the choir.

But this particular blog site was never really about my commentary but more about keeping a running record of relevant cultural events.

So, for a while at least, I will try to catalogue the things I here about that matter, particularly in the area of what I call “the logic.” This category which I use on several sites reflects the often outrageous reasoning we see on display every day as America continues to disavow its foundational values.

Christian Rock Star Trey Pearson Comes Out to Fans in Emotional Letter

In an emotional letter, Christian rock star Drew Pearson of Everyday Sunday came out to fans this week, telling them, “I never wanted to be gay.” He hoped that his disclosure wouldn’t hurt his career and that he could help acceptance in the Christian music community.
